What Is A Vibration Machine?

These vibration machines are also known as vibrating platforms or vibration plates.

Using one of these pieces of kit is known as a method of passive exercising. As you will see, though, you can also use these platforms much more actively.

From gyms to weight loss clinics and into the home, vibration machines are a great way to maximize the efficiency of your workout through the power of WBV.

The platforms come in assorted sizes and configurations. Vibrating plates beneath your feet send pulses up through your body. These vibration signals fool your brain and make you feel like you’re falling. Your body immediately compensates for this sensation of instability. Your muscles contract rapidly.

Why Use A Vibrating Platform?

Vibration machines are surprisingly versatile pieces of equipment.

Half Your Workout Time With A Vibration Machine

You can generate up to 50 muscle reflexes every second when vibration training. Any form of strength training carried out with these machines is intensified so you really can achieve the same results in less time.

Throw in the convenience of being able to train at home rather than hitting the gym and you can incorporate exercise into a busy lifestyle with ease.

Balance, Flexibility, Coordination

Stretching exercises carried out on a vibrating platform allow you a superior range of motion.

Your core and the flexors in your hips will be engaged ready to stabilize your body.

The vibrations are also great for strengthening muscles and helping with overall flexibility and giving your joints a light workout.

Boost Your Metabolism And Burn More Fat

You can perform a broad array of exercises on a vibration machine. This cardio in itself will raise your metabolism.

This will not only give you more energy but also prepares your body to burn fat effectively. If you’re looking to shed some pounds, using WBV is well worth considering as part of your plan.

Just remember, though…

If you’re looking to lose weight, eating the right way is essential. You need to combine a sensible diet with a good exercise program.

Great For Blood Circulation and Immune Function

The contractions in your muscles brought about by the vibrations push your blood freely around. Your circulation will improve.

At the same time, your lymph glands will be stimulated and your immune function enhanced as more lymph fluid makes its way around your system.

How To Use A Vibration Machine

Best Vibration Machine

Whether you want to perform weight-bearing exercises or a variety of cardio routines, using a vibration machine is extremely straightforward.

Switch it on, step on and you’re good to go.

Whether you choose to simply remain static on the platform, stretch or conduct a more energetic workout, the benefits you reap are from the vibrations.

However you choose to use your vibration machine, WBV is very straightforward to get started with.

What To Look For…

These platforms are not cheap so it pays to think carefully about your purchase before rushing in. You risk buying the wrong machine for your needs so take your time first to think about exactly how you will use the platform.

Here are some things to watch out for before deciding which vibration machine is right for you.

Ease of Use

The main thing you need to prioritize is stability. Whatever positions you intend to hold on the platform, you should feel comfy doing so.

At the same time, you need to feel that the controls are simple to operate and that you can make any tweaks you need to while exercising.

Think about how easy is to mount and dismount.

Ask yourself if the size of the platform and overall functionality make it the best machine for your needs.

There are many WBV routines you could carry out. They demand different forms of motion.

Up-and-down motion is known as lineal motion. Things like push-ups and skipping come under this category.

Pivotal motion is when you go from side-to-side like a seesaw.

Many vibration machines allow you to switch between these motions thanks to dual-motor technology.

As with every step of your research, ask yourself what you will do on the platform and focus on versatility if you will be actively using it in a number of different ways.

Budget is always an important factor in any purchasing decision.

With vibration machines, though, you must bear in mind that to a certain extent you will get what you pay for.

Cheaper machines may be reasonably effective but weaker motors will deliver far less powerful vibrations.

If you are looking for maximum therapeutic benefits and exercise options, try to look at value for money rather than focusing only on the bottom line.

What is the difference in the 600 watt vs the 1500 watt vibrationmachine. Would 600 watt have enought power? Is it better to get the 1500 watt? We are looking at the “Confidence” but wonderewd if 600 watts is powerful enough. Can I do push ups on it? It does not say if it has lineal motion. I am 73, 114 lbs, fit but have osteoporosis. My husband is 70, 230 lbs, has neauropothy (non diabetic). Would the Confidence be enough to meet our workout needs? Thank you so much.
