4 Factors That Have An Impact On Your Weight Loss Plan

January 22, 2018 by Harry

Not many are aware of the fact that one weight loss plan cannot be suitable for all. If there is a weight loss plan which has worked for your friend or a family member, it does not mean that it will work for you as well.  If you have tried the same plan, you will notice that the pounds do not simply disappear.

Weight loss involves a number of different aspects right from eating the right amount of healthy foods to exercising. You need to make healthy choices in your life if you want to lose weight. Here are some factors which have an impact on your ability to lose weight.

Calories

One of the most difficult tasks in a weight loss plan is to burn the calories. Most of us tend to underestimate the calories we eat but also overestimate the calories we burn. Hence, we end up consuming more calories than we can burn off. If you are not noticing any weight loss even after an exercise program, it is because of the calories in your body.

Eat healthy

You need to understand that there are good foods and bad foods. Now when you are trying to lose weight, the bad foods will come in your way and keep you from shedding the pounds. You need to focus on foods which are high in fiber and protein. They will make you fill up in no time and also make you feel full for longer.

You should opt for nutritious foods for weight loss like legumes, grains, whole eggs, fish, cottage cheese and yogurt. Avoid refined and processed foods because they will come in your way when you attempt to lose weight. There are a number of food options you can choose from. Plan your meals well in advance and do not cheat. If necessary, give away the food which you are not supposed to have in your diet. When it is out of sight, you will not be tempted to cheat.

Exercise

If you have been eating healthy for some time now but do not notice any weight loss, it is because you are not exercising. You need to add exercise in your weight loss plan in order to see results. The combination of eating right and exercising can help lose weight.

You need to have an individual workout plan which is suitable for your health and body. If you want to lose substantial amount of weight, try the HCG diet. The diet will limit your calorie intake to 500 and will help reduce weight quickly. You can work with your doctor to create an exercise plan keeping the HCG diet plan in mind. You can include your preference for certain activities and include them in your exercise plan.

Medications

If you have been eating healthy and working out regularly but you do not notice any weight loss, it could be due to other reasons. There are some medications which prevent weight loss and there are some diseases that also prevent weight loss. Even stress and anxiety produce a hormone known as cortisol which causes the body to store fat and not lose it. You need to speak to a medical practitioner in this case and understand why you are unable to lose weight.

There are different components of diet and weight loss which you need to consider. You will have to work with your doctor in order to create a plan which works best for you. Before you start with a weight loss program, you need to consult a doctor because it is related to your health and body.

There are different diet plans you can take up in order to lose weight but you should start with one only after speaking to the doctor. There could be adverse effect of the diet plan on your body and you could end up regretting your decision.

Weight loss should always be combined with exercise and the exercise plan of every individual varies. If you prefer swimming over walking, you can include swimming in you daily routine. Ultimately, you should be burning calories and consuming less of them.

Different diet plans have different rules you need to follow. Consider your present weight and health and set a goal for the weight you want to achieve. Your diet plan can be based on these two conditions and the tenure will also be determined keeping your present health in mind.
